That means 8 of them were actually knowledgeable about the process of vaccine development, testing, and administration. I cannot stress how very normal it is to have industry people on federal advisory committees. That is the WHOLE POINT of an advisory committee - to get expert advice by stakeholders. The way conflicts are addressed is through transparency and disclosure. there is an entire federal law about this called FACA, who knew!!![/quote]
