How is it at BCC and Whitman? We all know schools are closed for the summer.

Interesting. Why?

I know too many unhappy Pyle parents (normal people, not unhinged Bethesda types). I'd be wary of schools where the teachers are happy with the climate and admin, but the parents are not happy.

This thread is for teachers looking for schools with good energy.

We don't really know which are 'good' as oppose to "good at cover ups as data fraud"

Teachers at Pyle aren’t the friendliest, they stick to their own. Big part of administrative team is leaving, or will be in the next year, which isn’t a bad thing but means that everyone kind of does their own thing. Not too high pressure because parents are involved and students are high flying compared to other schools. Also teachers don’t feel like they have to impress anyone because they know leadership is about to change.

No there's a lot of racism

Nope. Lies. Lies for both and I am a parent of black children at both schools. I feel like they care and advocate for the best for my children and are a team. My eldest graduated from SMCS at PHS and has only had the best experiences.

No. She is a HBIC.

Special ed is unhappy everywhere…it’s become an unmanageable job, and very few admins are able/willing to work with the team to make it manageable or push back to central office when needed.
