Schools with good energy

Anonymous
Since it’s transfer season, I was thinking maybe MCPS staff could put together a list of schools where staff actually don’t seem miserable? Maybe we could help some of our colleagues who need to experience good vibes and energy for once. Here are some schools that I’ve heard good things about, either from my personal experience, or from colleagues. I really only know about HS, but feel free to share about any school that might be an upgrade for people looking for a change. If you disagree with any of these - sorry. Feel free to post the schools with bad vibes if you want.

Here are schools I’ve heard good things about -

Wheaton
Seneca Valley
Watkins Mill
Damascus

Looking at some schools mentioned, I notice many are headed by good principals.

Would not recommend any of the schools in the Rockville or Kennedy clusters

There's a survey of teachers at each HS about how staff feels about the school.

Blair. The administration is supportive and the students have a ton of school spirit. Other teachers and staff are nice. There's a lot of talent in the building.
