Same situation with us WM parents and the new principal. Najera is great with the community so far and Watkins Mill looks like it’s improving as I can see it. As someone with a WM graduate last year I’m glad to see both WMHS and SVHS which are close to each other and as well as Mont. Village and Germantown getting better.

I'm very impressed by her. I hope they find someone with her skills and energy for the position at Kennedy - that is a school that needs some help.

Ms Najera knows how to run a school. Seems to be keeping staff, students, and families very happy for the most part.

RHS parent here, the schools in our cluster are great. The only downsides are the high school itself and the middle school. Wood is what makes it more worse compared to the others in our cluster

I agree that Wood is weak, but my kids have been happy with RHS.

Magruder parent here, I feel like our clusters middle school is worse than yours but I have three friends who go to Rockville and all of them said that their kids had good experienced at the middle school, but the safety was horrible and the school as a whole was kinda wretched. Our MS is Shady Grove and both middle schools can compare in the same level with each other.
