She OVERPAID her Maryland taxes. |
No. NOT voting for Hogan. Alsobrooks for Maryland Senate! |
|
I was thinking about voting for Alsobrooks or Hogan but I've about had it with their pea-brained "canvassers" ringing my doorbell and leaving their propaganda garbage on my doorstep. I could do without the junk mail as well. We don't need your campaigns wasting time and money sending idiots around door to door trying to convince people of how to think or vote!!! Ick, gross. |
So, you're not voting because the candidates are campaigning? |
How? I need to see the numbers. Show me the numbers. I actually don't care; it was an oversight. But I keep reading that she overpaid and the rationale is her second property is more expensive than the first, from which she received the credit. But straight property value is not how the credit works. So, either provide the actual numbers or shut up. |
Its something when the average poster on here is both more diligent and competent than a possible Senator. |
Yeah it would really depend on how much assessments went up for each property. We have had huge increases in home values over the last few years so she probably did get a big assessment hike on her new home. It doesn't sound unreasonable at all that she overpaid. It probably wasn't a lot but speaks to this issue being unintentional. I also can't imagine the DC thing was intentional. It's not like she herself applied for the credits. |
No, because they are sending pea-brained idiots around leaving junk paper everywhere as if those idiots are going to convince anyone to come out and vote for their candidate. It's sickening. Oh, thanks Hogan. I really needed goober and gobber at my front door to let me know that you want my vote! C'mon, man! |
What was the increase in county-appraised value for each of these properties over the years that she owed them? Don't make me go through SDAT. |
DP Jfc, you do the work. You could be the one to blow this case wide open. |
Um, okay. |
Tons of people make mistakes on the taxes. Do you live in the US? Our tax system sucks. |
Oh stop. People are parroting "she overpaid" without any idea if she did. It's just as annoying as your dismissive comment. Let the people making the assertions do the work. |
They are describing a claim in the CNN article. The CNN reporter did not deny or confirm that claim, but the claim makes sense based on home value increases over the last few years. You still have doubts, so go look it up. We're not your research assistants. |
