Just curious, at the MLS Next level then, how would describe the difference of the "goals at to their soccer 'careers'" between SYC & Bethesda players? |
I imagine Bethesda families are more focused on using soccer to get their kids into certain colleges, and only few are trying to go pro. SYC has kids going into college too but not like the ones Bethesda kids are getting into. FWIW, I don’t think what colleges kids are getting to is a reflection of how good they are as a player. |
Since MLS Next came along, Bethesda doesn't seem to be waving the college commitment superiority flag like they used to do Or I'm just not that tuned in |
so dumb, please stop, DCU academy folks are rollin right now |
DCU academy taking all the top players. |
More like taking early puberty kids and doing nothing with them. |
Which U14 team in the DMV has more kids playing up than DC United U14's? |
Go point by point and tell us exactly and precisely what other clubs are doing with their players. Thanks Sharing is caring and good education for us who don't know. |
There is no rivalry between SYC and Bethesda. Bethesda have and always will be the weaker team. They cannot beat any of the SYC teams. |
SYC dominates in everything. |
Everything except producing college players and pros. But those U15 trophies will last into your kids' 40's and 50's I'm sure. |
If a kid leaves your club and pays to go to college and play soccer, you didn't really produce a college player You just had a kid at your club who went to a college they would have went to anyway regardless of club. |
This is another dumb statement. Please tell me how many soccer scholarships there are for men's and women's soccer? |
Demotion or develop young talents? |
Doesn't matter much. foreign players on the mens side are taking a significant number of scholarships per major program. It will only gonna get harder for US pay for play players to compete with real academies abroad. |
