They don’t. Welcome to reality |
Tiger Woods. |
+1 seriously!! |
How do you mean? Woods was arrested for DUI in 2017 and plead guilty to a reckless driving charge - this is a common practice in many jurisdictions for first time DUI offenders, especially in similar circumstances where the driver wasn’t actively driving at time of police intervention (Woods was found asleep behind the wheel and his vehicle was stationary) so that actually creates a circumstance that can make conviction at a jury trial uncertain. Woods had a car accident and could have been killed but instead was merely disabled by serous injuries that required surgery and rehabilitation. Police who responded to that incident found no probable cause to suspect intoxication; I’m not inclined to disbelieve them because I know that most cops have a hard on for charging DUIs and are more likely than not to do so if there is any indication a driver is impaired. As I recall, Woods was driving a rental car on an unfamiliar stretch of road with a high rate of accident - he might have been exceeding the speed limit? But a lifelong disability seems a decent consequence for any foolishness he exhibited in that incident. What other incidents are alleged as Woods being given a pass by police? |
Actually, Scheffler didn't say, "Do you know who I am?" The cops had no idea who he was. Doesn't that seem inconsistent with the narrative that he thought he was above the law? He apparently thought he didn't have to wait in traffic because the players had been told they didn't have to wait in traffic with spectators and others. Other players in PGA marked courtesy cars had moved around traffic. |
Read up darling. And not on DCUM. |
It’s a little early to be drinking already. |
| What kind of privilege means I can be arrested by a cop on an ego trip screaming profanities at me for trying to get to my job on time? Doesn't sound very advantageous. |
|
Scottie Scheffler is a class act, through and through. One of the true good guys in sports. He’s kind, humble, and a Christian family man, on top of being world #1 and dominating the sport at “peak Tiger” level. Even after this ordeal, he had nothing but kind words and gratitude for the Louisville PD… he’s handled this with such grace and professionalism.
He’s the kind of guy you hope and dream your daughter will bring home one day. This cop should apologize for going on a power trip and the charges should be dropped, swiftly. |
Don’t be ridiculous. I think this could have been a different story if Scottie were black and that’s a terrible thing. But that he is white doesn’t make him any more guilty. You’re conflating issues. |
You’re obviously talking about someone else. Scottie Scheffler wasn’t screaming profanities at anyone. Nor was he going on an ego trip. Who are you people who are so unhinged? If you’re going to have an opinion about something maybe understand what you’re talking about first. |
The cop. Learn to read. |
I apologize, the post was unclear to me. I was annoyed at all the stupid posts before yours and I reacted out of frustration. I should have read yours more carefully. |
|
I just heard on CNN that the police officer apparently did not have his body cam turned on.

+1. Bunch of classist racists and pathetic jock sniffers. |
