So long Louisville.

The golf workd prefers how cops have treated Tiger Woods for his reckless driving related difficulties.

These two statements are both true:

Police have a very hard job and they should be supported.

Police make a lot of stuff up and treat people badly (perhaps as a result of what the job does to them).

That is what the command staff -- not just the chief but all the way down has to process. Somtimes they have to tell their cops no. No way he should have been charged at the scene if there was a halfway decent supervisor there. Citation -- sure. But the arrest was not appropriate. All things flow from that. Officer lied I think to make the arrest stick.

Sgt. or Lt. on scene should have asked about his body cam and when there was no video they should have taken off the cuffs to save the cop frankly.

It only gets worse now with the DA being an a'hole.

+1. Definitely the right thing to happen here. I'd hope some of the posters who were convinced Scheffler was a scumbag from page one would learn from this, but I doubt it'll happen.

So -- how will we insure that totally fake felony charges are not being brought against people who do not happen to be famous golfers?

Can you hear it? Yep. That's the sound of the Republican Party's election pandering idea to "charge everyone with a felony" proposed plan going down the toilet.

The appropriate outcome is firings and charges for falsifying a police report

WTH are you even talking about?
Seems to me it is the Democratic Party bringing false felony charges against people they don't like while letting actual criminals skate on misdemeanor or no charges. Check out Bragg's record on this issue.
