Yup, they know if they didn't drop the charge, Scottie will file a civil suit and the city of Louisville and its police department would be under constant media coverage and scrutiny.
Then, the people of Louisville will get tired of them and vote them out. |
Should have happened a week ago. They actually admitted that the police officer ran after the car (not dragged) and several other PGA cars entered the gates immediately before Scottie. Idiots. |
How can you listen to that and conclude Scottie was in the wrong? He was cooperative after being assaulted through his car window by a man who did not identify himself as a police officer. You better believe that if some strange man pulls me over, reaches into my car and hits me with a flashlight, I’d be driving off too. |
You're in the 1% minority, sista. |
They hate him because he is a white, happy, heterosexual, Christian, male who is married, extremely successful, and conservative. Period. |
He quite literally confessed on video to purposely ignoring the cop. That’s entitlement. |
Next time you see a fatal crime or accident scene shut down by police, just go drive through it because you have places to be. Let us know how that works out for you. I don’t care that this is allegedly the “nicest guy ever” and everything was dropped because he’s a rich pro athlete—he made a mistake and was in the wrong. |
You should care and learn about criminal law and procedure. At least don’t use words you don’t understand without sounding ignorant. |
I know you feel like you have a point but you really don't and continuing to post just makes you sound dumber and dumber. Find a different fight to fight. |
+1 He was not driving through the accident scene. The prosecutor's statement yesterday addressed the accident and made it clear that the accident scene and investigation were in a different area from where Scheffler was stopped. The officer was not securing the accident scene, and Scheffler's arrest had absolutely nothing to do with the accident investigation. The statement from the prosecution also indicated that Scheffler did not even know there had been an accident when he tried to enter the club. Listening to that sloppy interview, I also wouldn't say that Scheffler confessed to anything. The officer asked leading questions and Scheffler was being polite and respectful while trying to answer. The better question to ask the uniformed PP is whether anyone of any race or economic status deserves to be hit with a flashlight by an angry individual (who was not obviously identifiable as a police officer) during a traffic stop, or is that only ok for rich white athletes? |
Exactly! |
Evidently the cop in question has a very questionable background. The police chief has a very questionable background.
Something is really broken in that community. The police chief was caught trying to "fix" charges against her drug dealing relative. She was caught rifling through the detective's desk. WHAT ?? |
You’re still digging your heels in? Moron. |
Vote out the police department? The police department rher murdered a lady in her own bed a few years ago? |
