So let me get this, mayor should make the MPD who are 800 cops short to do their jobs which now include the following constraints straight from the feverish brain of Charles Allen:
No chase policy
No enforcement of non-felonies (so noise, vandalism, carjackings, fare evasion)
No prosecution
Jail for cops
Offenders below 25 treated as juveniles
Etc.

Maybe she can get MPD, who she is in charge of, to do their jobs for a start. I have never seen such a large group of people with such lack of will to work. The WAMU expose showed the morale issue is a management problem, not a Council or BLM problem.

The city recently paid a quarter of a million $$ to repaint (and reinforce) that message. So don’t start with “well that was then” lies.
