Why do people start threads and not come back? I guess it was a troll. |
Are you medicated for your paranoia? If not, please consult someone. You don’t have to live this way. |
She said she called police stations in her OP. It’s not a missing person until 24 hours for an adult. So she is probably dealing with police now. DCUM Makes sense. It’s a responsive community, posting on real social media kind of airs your dirty laundry which she may not be ready to do yet, yet she feels very alone and unsure what to do. I might do it. Then someone will say “check the whole house even the attic” — maybe he hit is head and is unconscious in the attic because he wanted to get something out of storage? He Uber home and is passed out on bushes because he lost his keys. |
I literally posted on DCUM 3 hours after I found out my DH was having an affair in the middle of the night while we were on a family trip on the other side of the world. I needed someone to talk me off a cliff and given the time difference, DCUMers responded right away. I got some really, really kind and empathetic responses that I read several times. So yes, I can see OP coming here for advice that you don't want to necessarily ask friends and family about. |
We know, you talk about it all the time. |
I want to know if PP is one prolific mean person or if there are many on these boards. Get a life… |
The 24 hour thing is a myth. |
Well, no (never promise early morning things with known late night drinking!). Though I would have arrived home in time anyways for that, but still I would say it was generally immature spousal behavior that I do intend not to repeat. Hopefully the same for OP’s DH. |
Eff off. I also post here when I have a crisis. There are not many ways to get anonymous support. |
Yeah the police will ignore you for way longer than 24 hours |
They're embarrassed |
DP. You should move along. I recognize your unhappiness causes you to lash out but you need to learn to edit yourself. |
True. Sadly I knew someone who committed suicide at home (lived alone). Police completely ignored her friend who was worried, and even when her family got involved, it was 5 days before they agreed to get her super to unlock the door. |
I’ve actually never posted about that specific poster. She’s just all over the place. We get itttt… |
No, they're not. |
