Kate Middleton looks really happy lately

The people who want to believe their marriage is unstable have two theories about the kids. Some think the kids don’t exist at all because they’re rarely seen in public. Others think that there’s a law in the UK stating that the current monarch is the legal guardian of all his kids/grandkids so Charles will sweep in and rescue the kids and raise them in the UK.

Once I became aware of all the really crazy theories around Harry and Meghan, it was a lot easier to recognize what was really happening.

Does he have gardening skills? He can work from the ground up and live his American dream.

Yeah, don't think he'd ever leave the kids even if the marriage soured.

So much love, I weep.

But, yeah, the staged photos sure are nice. 😅😅

Don't buy this. Although an eventual split wouldn't surprise me, not while the kids are young I don't think.

I'm not a big H&M fan but I don't see divorce on the horizon at least in the immediate future.

Agreed, though I'm basically neutral on them (not a fan, but I don't hate either of them the way many seem to). Not only do I think they'd ever split while the kids are young, I actually think recent events have bonded them together even more. Harry's book threw him all in with Meghan and with his position that he (and they collectively) have been wronged by the family and staying was intolerable. Like so many of his grievances that are now publicly aired have nothing at all to do with Meghan, but she's backing him up and supporting him while his family approaches it all with an arm's length approach and less emotionality. They are a unit now and he would not be welcomed back to the BRF with open arms at this point, so they are all in on that marriage for the foreseeable future.

They are both products of divorce, severe dysfunction and mental illness. Throw in the stress of abandoning your family and friends and moving to another country--with very little if any contact to those old friends and it is really a huge obstacle...huge, huge. He gave up everything and he's isolated on this side of the pond without any good mates--not great confidants. That does not bode well for their future.

He doesn’t seem stressed by it. Does not sound like he has been particularly close with his dad ever and his brother in a long time. Not sure why it’s impossible for someone to make new friends after moving? Which they appear to have done. Also he’s one of many royals to move to the US. Princess Madeline of Sweden moved to Miami with her American husband around the same time but because she doesn’t have the army of psychotics praying her marriage falls apart you don’t get endless articles about how sad and lonely she is.

Princess Madeleine is moving her family back to Sweden.

Ok. Princess Mako is another one that lives in the United States who also doesn’t have thousands of articles about how her life must be terrible and friendless because she’s not in her home country. And for her she also has the added unpleasantness of being a minority in her new country.

Princess Mako? She is from a different culture. But you are welcome to speculate about how miserable she is, marrying for love and getting rejected by her family. What's-his-name passed the bar, which everyone followed closely, fwiw.

Madeline didn’t leave her country after sensationally falling out with her family. Her husband is an American businessman. She has been photographed regularly at events with them over the years. And they are moving back to Sweden later this year.

I forgot about this! It was a huge story when she married that guy.

Woah that was kind of shocking. I haven’t seen that kind of video before but have heard comments purporting the lack of relationship. Huh. Any other videos that show something similar??

They’ve been gone for years so that doesn’t make sense.

H&M were physically gone a while ago but likely still occupying space in Kate and Will’s minds. I doubt they give them a second thought now.

Wow that was hard to watch! She seems lovely and gentle, and he seems to want nothing to do with her/not enjoy being in her company. If that’s what you do in public it must be worse in private. Icy.

He honestly seems like a first class ahole, even in the staged photos. Just extremely full of himself. Kate always looks happiest and best when she is doing events without him. When they arrived at the coronation, they looked like they'd just completed some kind of world class couples fight in the carriage over. I think their marriage is far, far from ideal.

Don't really think too much about Royals but I think Kate is awesome. She's done nothing but what she has to do as a wife of the eventual King. Through all the gossip and judgements, she's had to grin and bear and look at how Megan sucked at it. Kate has a dignity and class William should seriously be grateful for - he married well. Fan or no fan of Kate, she has lived up to her part of role she has to play. Sincere or not she's not added the drama and embarassment her SIL has. That takes strength at least what she's shown in public.

Not much between the ears, eh? The whole point is that people don’t speculate that she is miserable by virtue of her leaving.

Also Sweden and UK are different cultures from the United States but I guess your point was just that she is nonwhite?

This is the opposite of not thinking much about the Royals.
