I have a cousin who has this. They married when they were professional equals, but with kids, she has quit. He has a ton of money (family and his own career). It’s an amazing lifestyle. They aren’t that flashy. But they travel often, have a beautiful home, are very generous. She spends her days managing household staff, focusing on kids’ activities and helping out older relatives as needed. Her husband is not a jerk and he likes working/doesn’t have to. Amazing set up.

Majority of humans aren't doing what they want to do and hate their jobs but gotta make a living. If you disconnect job and income today, 70% would quit, 20% would do something else and probably less than 10% would do what they are doing now.

Many of these super wealthy men don't have trophy wives. Almost every male actor has a tall manly looking wife (prob so they can guarantee tall sons). Or just some average looking brunette actress.

Look at the wives of Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. None have been conventionally attractive or "trophy" wives. Sam Bankman Fried had an unattractive girlfriend when he was still a billionaire too.

Peter Jones (British billionaire) has a not very attractive wife and same with Mark Cuban.

I see more attractive women every time I go in public. Just random ones on the street. So looks clearly aren't the only factor for all wealthy men.

I do think Dan Snyders wife is trophy wife material though. And Melania Trump when she was younger.

And Salma Hayek is short and manly looking, married to a billionaire.

But worth mentioning that I haven’t seen Mark Cuban’s wife in 20+ years, but he was in his 40s and she was mid-20s (my age at the time) when they started dating. I lived in Dallas at the time and remembered thinking of her as hot.

Salmas face is quite masculine. Doesn’t necessarily mean unattractive. Look at Gisele Bunchedon. I feel like Gisele would be considered too big and masculine to the average man

I think most football player or athlete wives are not that attractive and sort of harsh looking. Same with many wives on The Real Housewife shows.

I mean these guys could marry women like Katrina Bowden or Candace Swanepoel if they wanted to. But many are with average or borderline unattractive face women with nice bodies. I think personality does matter if you have to spend so much time with someone and raise children with them.

And I think that super attractive and accomplished men tend to be less shallow in a way, since they don’t have anything to “prove” to the world and they already have beauty and good looks themselves. Look at Josh Holloway and his wife vs Katrina Bowden and her husband

Someone educated, flexible career who is good with kids.

Personally female lawyers, CPAs, Computer programmers etc. were turnoffs to rich single men who want kids.

My good rich friend grew up with a SAHM wanted a stay at home wife. He did not want a wife who worked. Yet he wanted an educated and beautiful polished women who had a career.

He found one. Very hard to do. Not rich by DCUM standards but he lives in a 3.5 million dollar house, wife has Range Rover and maid. She quit working the day she got engaged to plan wedding. They have three kids ages 5-15.

I’ve never met a very wealthy educated man with a wife who is a pink collar worker. Not once. I’m sure they are out there, but it’s uncommon.
