When I see their pix together, he just looks really truly very happy. Part of it is just the flush of youth (Chelsy as well with that huge smile) but it feels so warm and free.

He pines for a lot of things he lost (or more accurately lost when he threw a temper tantrum).

+10000000

I imagine he regrets leaving the royal family. No one in the US cowtows to him like in England.

He had the best gig in the royal family. Senior enough for major perks, but not the actual life sentence of being monarch. Plus as William s kids grow and take up royal duties he would be in the spotlight less as he ages and be able to relax more.

It's shocking he threw that all away. Clearly not the brightest guy.

He had what Andrew had a few decades ago. No wonder he wanted out.

Lol. Again, it’s an example of how the tabloids caused a major change in his life. Just because he’s talking about it now doesn’t mean that he wants Chelsy back. Is William also living in the past for settling with the tabloids over the phone hacking thing? Should he have just moved on?

She has a child and another man. The last thing she needed was this.

Maybe harry should stop reading the tabloids. But yeah, he needs to move on. Chelsy is probably much happier to not be with this guy who is in a tail spin. She must be so embarrassed that he is still talking about her.

For real! Poor Eugenie and Beatrice were the butt of jokes for years, having done nothing to deserve it. Harry wanted a different life for his kids.

This is what I don’t get about Megan. It seems to me that the path was so clear before she married him. The media hazes you for years, there’s a lot of unfair criticism and hyper focus, but you get lots of fancy clothes and jewelry and relative comfort with no real intellectual heavy lifting … and in a few years, everyone forgets you because no one cares about a middle aged Royal who is not the regent (unless they do something really awful), at which point you still get the nice clothes and jewelry, can enjoy your hobbies, have a pet charity, all in exchange for showing up to some events in appropriate clothes and waving dutifully and generally keeping you mouth shut in public. I mean, it’s not a job for everyone, but the pros and cons seemed to me to be pretty well established. It does seem like a pretty good second career for an actress that doesn’t want to fight for dwindling roles in Hollywood and doesn’t have the connections/talent for directing or producing.

But your movement is heavily restricted and you can’t even choose how you dress. Imagine going from complete freedom to living with your co-workers. Everything you do in the privacy of your home is reported on. When I say co-workers, I’m not just talking about in-laws. There’s zero privacy, even behind closed doors. No thank you. Not worth it.

But she chose it.

I don’t sign up to be a coal miner and complain that I don’t like working in the dark.

She was young and naive and didn't know much about his family or his job.

Not really. People don't really care about Sophie and Edward. Perks without the bs.

She was 36, not 19 like Diana.

So far, Prince Harry has presented zero evidence to support his claims that his phone was hacked. It’s all completely circumstantial. When it was pointed out that people who had won similar cases had actual phone data backing up their claims, he said he wasn’t aware.

It doesn’t seem to have occurred to Harry that there were people around him in the Army & Eton & elsewhere who didn’t like him very much.

https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/22603660/prince-harry-set-for-another-bombshell-day/

Yesterday, Harry was admonished over his allegations that a journalist must have hacked a phone for a story about him injuring his thumb at Eton College.

Pressed on which phone would have been hacked, the prince said he “can’t be sure”.

Mr Green responded: “That’s not an answer.” Harry said: “The doctor’s? I’m not sure.”

Mr Green then hit back: “Are we not, Prince Harry, in the realms of total speculation?”

The duke replied: “I’m not the one who wrote the article. You’d have to ask the journalist.”

The Duke of Sussex has also claimed phone hacking was used to find out how he had celebrated his 18th birthday - but the court heard it was in fact information he had already revealed himself in a public interview.

An article called No Eton Trifles for Harry used quotes taken from an interview Prince Harry gave to the Press Association (PA).

It revealed he was given a gift of golf clubs from his uncle Earl Spencer and would have a "quiet day at home with my father, my brother, and my family".

Mr Green told the court these details were actually said by Prince Harry himself in the PA interview.

Mr Green told the court: "The private information about which you complain in the Daily Mirror article had been revealed by you in an interview and published in many Sunday newspapers."

When questioned, Harry added: "The timing is suspicious."

That's why you follow the path of Anne and Edward and don't give your kids titles and that special treatment.

Andrew insisted on all kinds of perks for his daughters so yeah, no fault of them, but out of line with this positions in the RF.

This! She was not "young" and naive at all.
