From the article : ‘seems to imply’ is one phrase that jumped out at me. The other is a portion of the interview was tweeted.

Then there’s this:

Given the precise nature of the information provided by department whistleblowers with a high degree of credibility, we're confident that the FBI has had these significant allegations for some time now," Taylor Foy, communications director for Grassley, told Newsweek on Friday. "The question is what did the FBI do with that information. That's what Senator Grassley would like to illuminate."

So yes, the proper to do is consider them allegations until investigated thoroughly

Wildly contradictory. But then again, I'd expect nothing less than weird and wildly contradictory to come out of Grassley's office.

Biden has said.... Hunter is the smartest person he knows.
Pitiful.

We're not wrong to roll our eyes and shrug.

Some of us are old enough to remember all of the wild accusations made vs. Hillary Clinton, years and years of "lock her up" - yet not a single one of the dozens of investigations actually ever revealed any prosecutable wrongdoing.

Your side doesn't have a terribly good track record and there isn't much reason to believe this will be any different.

There was prosecutable wrongdoing. Unfortunately, thanks to James Comey, there was also prosecutorial wrongdoing.

There is no contradiction. It’s an allegation until prosecuted in a court of law and found guilty. We are presumed innocent

I feel weird about all these Biden family members on the take.

And before you howl about Jared, I am a democrat and can’t stand that creep.

We should have stuck to our guns and gotten Bernie over the line.

What real evidence do you have that “all these Biden family members on the take”.

Right wing lies. Payments for influence are legal.

It is legal for a foreign country to pay the VP of the US to get favorable policies? Really? Is their a cap on how much they can pay?

Actually it is almost certainly legal. Under McDonnell v. US, it is only illegal if the bribe is paid in exchange for an "official act" and "official act" means a "formal exercise of governmental power." Setting up a meeting or urging some other official to do something doesn't count. And since the VP has no formal power at all over foreign policy, he could not possibly have done an "official act."

Really?

He had no formal power to do that. He may have advised Obama to order it or something. But the VP can't do that on his own authority. If you think otherwise, cite the statute giving him that power.

We shall see now, won't we? And, I have heard this is part of what this whistleblower's complaint is about.

The whistleblower is a MAGA insurrectionist. Who cares what the traitor has to say?

+1 “whistleblowers” are troublemakers with agendas and need to be jailed.

Amazing how whistleblowers are suddenly "out of vogue" with the left.
Whistleblowers who lie can suffer the same fate as anyone who lies to Congress - imprisonment.
From all accounts, this whistleblower is credible.

What are you prattling on about, trumpkin?

Yet the conservatives of SCOTUS are not selling their vote, Trump did not plan a coup, etc, etc.

Bernie would have been a mess. I like him like my grouchy liberal uncle but he was not the right person to be president.

Yep. It is hard to find this news on most sites associated with the legacy media.
This is from CBS. But, since it is Catherine Herridge reporting, the liberals will dismiss it.

Note that this story in Jan. 2023 just focuses on the fact that the new GOP house is subpoenaing the SARs, but does not indicate the fact that there were 150 associated with the Bidens.

And Republicans would have made up fake accusations about him, too.
