I do, but then when I want to refill it there is nowhere to do so, and everywhere just wants me to buy bottles. I feel like we have regressed significantly with the ability to use our own refillable bottles. At the least they should convert fountains to refill stations. |
+1! And requiring everyone to test to return from breaks. My daycare still won’t allow parents inside because of “covid protocols”. I have literally never stepped foot inside the daycare. |
They’ve changed it now, but for the longest time at my pediatricians office you had wait outside the door and call to tell them you’re there, but there was no cell reception in the building (a big hospital). |
| I'm stunned that some healthcare places still require masks for entry and vaccine + booster to work there. |
Ugh, schools are still doing this? Come to think of it, though, our daycare still won't let parents inside either, except on designated open-house nights. Ridiculous. |
There never were vaccine requirements for COVID. Thankfully public shaming of selfish arseholes who refused dealt with that. |

I just spent the last 3 weeks traveling through East Africa and South Africa. It seems like lots of places around this area just don't want to take down their COVID signs - saw so many "masks required" signs all around, in hotels, stores, restaurants, you name it.
Obviously not enforced (no one masks there - NO ONE - and I love it!) but they just don't feel like taking them doing. But the only actual COVID policy was the COVID vaccine requirement for travelers to Kenya - they check your vax card almost the minute you get off the plane. Otherwise, all housekeeping services are completely normal - you get daily service. |
| The nasty, gross plexiglass at retailers like Target. It's still up at the checkout lanes and it needs to go. It's just disgusting. There are fingerprints and germs all over those things. And what good did they do? Nothing. If a plexiglass barrier was all that it took to prevent an airbourne virus, we'd have been using them for decades. I swear to god, logic went out the window when COVID arrived. |
not where I live on the west coast. We’ve been mask free for nearly a year |
