If Bowser gets caught up with the former deputy mayor in the "Developalooza" investigation, she might be spending time in a federal courthouse and later institution. |
+1000 we do NOT need an NFL stadium in DC. |
+2000 |
| At this point, Bowser is done. She has lost what credibility she had. |
True. Are any of her people honest? |
It’s a done deal. Even the Post a few days ago conceded that. It was done with the name change and the change in ownership. |
| She and her staff are so arrogant, it is really a shame. I mean it must be nice to live in their heads and be convinced that you’re saving the city but enough is enough, can we please hold these idiots accountable? |
| She has a great future. I’m very excited to see if she stays in as mayor or leaves public service. |
Maybe Trump will win and have the FBI investigate her. |
City Paper reported that the FBI is already investigating the Office of the Mayor for its dealings with developers. It started with Falcicchio and has spread to other officials. |
At this point Bowser couldn’t win a federal appointment as head of a regional office in HUD. |
Her poor decision making was evident by her backing of Bloomberg in the primary. She would never even get on a list to get one of those appointments, even though we also know that she’s not competent to do the job anyway. Bowser’s biggest failing is that she cares more for political favors than results. So she appoints some of the most incompetent and unqualified people imaginable to run DC agencies. Unfortunately, her lack of respect for administrative competence has led to an erosion of government capacity for service delivery that can be very difficult and will require years of hard work to reverse. Whenever Bowser decides that she has had enough of DC or someone thankfully offers her a lucrative off-ramp as an exit, it will take decades for DC to recover from the damage. Looking back in hindsight and by any indicator that people want to use to measure, 2015 was the pinnacle for the city. |
Anyone with a brain could acknowledge Tony Williams was a great Mayor. Why would anyone diverge from his playbook? |
Greed, corruption, arrogance |
