I think that this would have been a difficult job for the most skilled politician, given the reality of this second Trump term.

Has she handled it masterfully? No. But I'm not sure that becoming a figurehead for the resistance would have been a great choice.

That said, I don't think she'll run again. I wouldn't if I were her. I'm sure she'll find a cozy position among one of her cronies / funders.

The only reason I think she will run again is to claim the stadiums under her administration.
