All males have to register. Including trans women. Trans men do not register. Not that they're going to have transgender women on the front lines but I could imagine them being office workers.

We currently have transwomen and transmen "on the front lines". That is why Trump created a law to deny them healthcare.

I'd rather my son not be compelled either. I'd go in his place any day. But fair is fair. As long as we have the possibility of the draft in this country, it should be equal for men and women.

But we don’t treat men and women equally in this country, so you can’t make it “fair.” Also, drafting both men and women would raise a lot of issues for the draftees who have minor children. What are we going to do with children when both parents are drafted to serve at the same time? How expensive will it be to put procedures in place so this doesn’t happen?

Selective Service is 18-25. Do you really think there are that many couples with children on DCUM where BOTH parents are under the age of 26?

As much as I agree that men have definitely drafted and passed majority of the laws in this country, including the selective service one, women are just as much to blame for the recent Dobbs decision as men. Women have as much voting power in this country as men do. Vote them out and abortion will be legal everywhere again. I see so many women crying murder when it comes to this issue and voting to have the rights stripped away from them.
