What are the Greater DC "Big 3" Catholic Schools?

Visitation
Prep
Connelly school of the holy child

These are the big three in my eyes. No it particular order. The academics are stellar and rigorous. Also, they are very inclusive and diverse. The students from the schools give back to the community.

Boys: Georgetown Prep and Gonzaga

Girls: Visitation and Stone Ridge.

For high schools, that's it.

Just curious, how come no one is listing holy child as a top 3 for girls ?

Holy child has been listed

I would say it’s definitely in the top three for girls

I wish people would hold post in this section to information about the schools. If you want to debate theology, please go to the religion forum.

Going back to the specific original question, in order to determine which are the “big three” Catholics in DC, everything has to be considered because that’s what the best of the best is Dash a culmination of the best of everything. Obviously this would include strong academics, sports, diversity and inclusion, as well as realistic information for our children. Teaching teen children to abstain until marriage is fine as long as it’s accompanied with other alternatives to prevent pregnancies STDs etc. teaching the children to abstain indefinitely or that they will go to hell is in no way inclusive. Visitation such a fabulous example in this realm.

Obviously for the above reasons, visitation would be the big three’s number one.

Visitation.

FYI: niche ranks the Heights School at number 8, about the same as oakcrest.

Just as “far west” as Heights, which has been listed numerous times. Again… can someone give their reasoning why Holy Child is not a top 3?
