Holy child! There you go. It’s now listed. |
I chose ND over an Ivy. Many do, no big deal |
Amen to that! |
Holy Child is admittedly far less rigorous than visi and sr. That is what they are selling. Parents would admit it too. But great school otherwise and girls seem very happy. You asked. |
Big three are:
Georgetown Prep Paul VI Visitation |
Most would divide by gender and amongst my friends:
Georgetown Prep & Gonzaga Visitation & Stone Ridge |
No chance Paul VI is in that list. |
I doubt there are many recruited athletes at St Anselm’s. Probably the other two; St Anselm’s is purely an academic powerhouse. |
I would agree with this. Gonzaga and Visitation are the two most prestigious for the generational DC irish catholic folks. Prep and Stone Ridge have a more independent school feel--wealthier and more international. |
Lots and lots of the “generational DC Irish Catholic” crowd at Prep too. International flavor come from the boarding program. The day students (non-boarders) have sisters at Visitation. |
LOL OP! You are desperate |

Based on the new location, really tough to include PVI in many of these lists. Not a school that parents would drive that far out of the way for. However, very convenient for western fairfax and Loudoun families not wanting public school. The exception are athletes which is a bid draw at all of the private schools. For Basketball PVI may be the top draw. |
