Yes under My Students at the bottom where you registered for the Nutcracker Audition will have a Congratulations message, your child's role and a button to get their rehearsal schedule.

If a role isn't offered a message saying they were not able to offer a role and something about trying again next year will be in that same spot.

Is there a more “coveted” role at the PB3 level? Is the bee preferable over the mushroom? I’m clearly trying to fill the time here. Lol.

They are both SO CUTE!
I mean I think the bee is a slightly cuter costume. But both same stage time, and equal "Awwws" from the audience

You can’t lose at PB3. The mushroom costumes are very special and the kids always get a big “awww” from the audience, the bees get to do a sassy wiggle that makes everyone giggle, and both roles are just supremely adorable.

My DD is older, it's a whole thing with her classmates she's known forever. I'm cut out of the fun, but I linger in the kitchen to overhear.

My L3 has always found the news exciting enough to hear and share without any special fanfare but we do lots of celebrating/recognition during the season including special meetups with friends/family before or after a show, little cards with information to share with friends who might want to attend, a special ornament inspired by the role/costume (Etsy is great for this since so many of our roles differ from the usual ones) and the traditions Donna speaks of fondly, just taking time for a calm coffee/hot chocolate date before a show, starting/adding to a charm bracelet with the jewel(s) [fake ones for us!] for each cast and a charm related to the role…

I know - I’m telling myself to try to be less obsessive about this and just enjoy the waiting, but, so far, I’m failing miserably!

I know - I’m telling myself to try to be less obsessive about this and just enjoy the waiting, but, so far, I’m failing miserably!

Same! And I’m not a dance mom, I’m just here to support DD as long as she loves it. But Nutcracker season is just so fun and honestly I love getting to decline all invitations for travel and activities through Fall. The season of “no”!
