Ironically it was Trump in the 2016 primaries who called out Jeb Bush over Jeb's support for Iraq. Trump demolished 15 years of Republican orthodoxy in a 90 minute primary debate.

Ummm, still no. People may not even know where they learned it…but they heard about Trump fighting his secret service to try to make them take him to the capitol. They heard about crazy stories of the insurrectionists, they heard about Hawley running like a scared little b!t*h. They heard about it…you really really don’t get it. It’s the constant crazy stories about how f’ed up these people are. … it does not matter if people talk about the hearings. It’s the images and the stories and YES it’s getting covered…

PP here. I have a wide social circle full of people outside DC, both liberal and conservative, who are usually somewhat vocal about political news and observations. There has just been crickets on j6 hearings. The only social media platform where I've seen any mention of j6 is Twitter.
