Will Trump be allowed to run in 2024 if he is indicted for criminal conduct? I understand there is nothing in the constitution to prevent felons from running for the highest office although felons themselves are not allowed to vote. Is that correct? If it is, I have no doubt that MAGA would spin it as a virtue.

Cheny might not win a GOP primary, but she could make a lot of noise while losing. Imagine her in a debate with Trump and DeSantis!

Liz Cheney would get maybe 3% of the vote in a national vote. In a GOP primary, maybe 10%.

My fear is that she runs to try to peel votes away, but winds up giving him in the win in the end (remember 2000 or 2016?)
