Men, what's the best thing a woman can do to maximize her attractiveness?

+1 it really is this.

There is no reason to be fat. Fat is not a natural state, it is caused by sedentary lifestyle and bad diet.
I just can’t get excited about a woman who is fat or even chubby, even when everything else about her is great.
It’s a huge turnoff. I don’t like them stick thin either. “Curvy” butt and thighs are nice, but I mean the true meaning of curvy, not the euphemism for fat that it has become.

+1. This is exactly right. Being fat is just a deal breaker for most men with options.

I'm a guy and agree. The #1 priority for the OP's question is maintaining a healthy weight. Basically, if you are 5 foot 5, don't eat more than 1600 calories average per day, and you should be fine. Amount of food you eat is the most important, followed by exercise. Try lifting weights instead of treadmill all the time. Lifting weights will have more visible effects.

If someone at that height wants to each 2800 calories per day average, be my guest. It is free country.

Where do you guys even come up with this nonsense??? I'm 5'6, weigh 115 lbs, aged 43. I eat 2000 calories on average and I don't lift.

Thanks for the endless mansplaining though

Obviously everyone is different. Some people burn more calories than others just by active living. You don’t have to run or lift.
We need physical activity to be healthy. But there’s too much emphasis in this country on exercise and going to the gym, when for most people the thing they need to focus on is diet and moderate activity. Both are attainable.

+1 I eat 2000+ calories a day, am 5’ 5” and a size 0. I don’t exercise.

I'm the guy that said 1600 calories. I guess I was wrong and will admit it.

Living the rest of your life on 1600 calories sounds miserable and not worth it to just get a man. I’m so happy that the US in general, including the majority of women, don’t follow this nonsense. Now that so many women are bigger, men have no choice but to accept a higher weight. The demand is far too great for the low supply of women are are willing to starve themselves.

It’s nice you push the blame for this behavior to men but it is women who set this as a normal. It’s women who push this type of stuff. so many women are bigger men have no choice…. Men have been dating and marrying fat women long before you came around and will continue to do it long after you are gone,

Let's not beat up on the 1600 calorie guy. He just recommended a "healthy weight". If 2000 calories does the trick, then eat 2000 calories. If 3000 calories works for you, each 3000 calories. Strategy is to stay healthy weight weight until you get married. Then increase calories by 10% each year. Target is 30 BMI.

I don’t count calories, never have. I eat whatever I want and my BMI is 18.5. A lot of this is genetic.

I've met some skinny tall women. It does seem like genetics is playing a part, you can tell by how skinny they are. To OP: Alter your genetics.

This country has no shortage of beautiful women. Any man who is also in terrific shape with a good career should never have any issues.

She can't just "be your preferred height," "be Asian or Latina," or "never age over 30." Given that you can't change your race, bone structure, or stop the aging process, what is within a woman's reasonable (not crazy plastic surgery) control to maximize and maintain her attractiveness? Such as: fitness, grooming, being more natural vs. being more high maintenance, smiling and having good teeth, expensive closing (or not?)

I don't know any man that actually wants a woman who is lazy and high maintenance - but they are not going to tell their lazy, high maintenance wives that.

This is rude. Are you having a bad day or something?
Anyway I’m not the OP but I’m guessing she is not trying to attract married men who consider their wives to be lazy and high maintenance. Or … a mean guy.
Anonymous
If you want to attract a man, do not take the advice of women- especially anonymous women on DCUM. Go and observe women who attract men. Then, copy them.
Predicting you will see some common themes:
smiling, clothes that are flattering/feminine and look easy to take off, long hair that is “touchable”, not talking too loud or too much or too negatively, appearing confident, wearing makeup but not looking like a drag queen …
For the most part, guys in real life don’t expect perfection. They expect sex and attention.
You don’t have to be a supermodel. You don’t need cosmetic procedures unless it’s what YOU want. Invest in your hair and your face and dress for your body. Wear a padded bra if you don’t have big boobs. Get your teeth as white as they can be and smile a lot. Act like you are hot - guys will think you are hot.
Anonymous
I am a woman but these are common traits I see in women who get a lot of male attention irl: in good shape, wear figure flattering clothes, smile and laugh a lot (general positive energy), no makeup makeup that looks laid back but fresh

I genuinely do think positive, kind, friendly and feminine demeanor is the biggest one though. Well, maybe alongside being in decently good shape.
