Basically, if you are 5 foot 5, don't eat more than 1600 calories average per day, and you should be fine. Amount of food you eat is the most important, followed by exercise. Try lifting weights instead of treadmill all the time. Lifting weights will have more visible effects. If someone at that height wants to each 2800 calories per day average, be my guest. If 2000 calories does the trick, then eat 2000 calories. If 3000 calories works for you, each 3000 calories. Strategy is to stay healthy weight weight until you get married.
