| I’m a woman whose into women — am I allowed to answer? For me, be competent. Be really good at something, anything. Don’t care if it’s your job, makeup, carpentry, whatever. But be good at it. That’s hot af. Muscles are nice too, but competence is where it’s at. |

Exercise (aerobic and strength)
Lose weight (90% of American women should) Dress well (and age appropriate) Look after your hair and skin Don't smoke Don't get sloppy drunk in public Don't be dumb (unless you can lean into it) Don't be in a weird substrata (religious/trumpers/cults) Don't be weird (in a bad way - needy etc. good to be quirky) Don't live beyond means/ confuse style for "brands" Have a life with meaning/purpose so "searching for a man" isn't your main defining characteristic.... |
I don’t like thin. Don’t like fat either. |
| I have never, ever been thin, and I have never, ever lacked attention from men. In fact for much of my life I wished I had a little LESS attention from men. The trick is that I have somewhat of an hourglass figure and a lot of the fat is in the right places (for a man). |
That’s fine but just fyi men don’t care about that, and it won’t make you more attractive to men. |
And what, pray tell, is an acceptable ‘fun interest’ 🙄 |
You poor fool. It’s to make women look attractive to other women. |
This is a great list. Also, be confident |
Golf, ski, tennis, bridge. It doesn’t matter, just be interesting to talk to. |

Assuming these answers are really from men, it's interesting how universally makeup is panned.
I've never been into makeup, but I would break it out for a sorority formal or whatever, and DH (then boyfriend) would be like, "Ugh! Make-up is the worst!" and I'd be like, relax, I only wear six times a year, lol. He's stopped commenting on the rare times I wear it (subtly) but he still comments on women who paint it on. I wonder why it's such a turn-off. I mean, I don't think it's a turn on, obviously. But a turn OFF? |

Don’t get fat
Don’t get fake boobs, fake hair, fake nails, fake lashes, fake tans, fake butts. Fake lips, Don’t drink Don’t smoke Don’t be politically stuck on one side or one issue that you aren’t open to new perspectives Don’t waste my money buying junk Don’t wear lots of makeup Wear clothes that fit Cook homemade food Clean the house Don’t hire someone else to raise our children Don’t complain Dont envy others Shave your legs and pits and wax your moustache Don’t take forever to get ready Remember you aren’t always right Learn to drive Learn to shut your mouth Stop being desperate Lose the cheap perfume Stop looking like everyone else Breastfeed our child |

If women have any gray hair - keep it colored.
Nothing screams “I do not care how bad I look now - I am just O-L-D!!” than a woman who is letting her gray roots grow in or has that dull, gray dishwater colored hair. Keeping your grays properly colored (even if it has to be done every ten days or so) shows a man that you care. It keeps you looking polished and shows that you are not ready yet to let your old age take over you. However after 65+, you can let your grays show. Because at that stage of life, everyone and their Mother know that you likely are 💯% gray and that even if you color your mane, your skin will contradict it. |
