I don’t really see the difference between dating and having sex when you have a newborn vs having an older child. And no one would bat an eye if it were a man dating with a newborn.

NP. I would bat an eye. I think it’s reasonable to expect that you’re pretty much entirely devoted to your child’s well-being for the first year of their life. It’s hard for me to comprehend how dating would even factor in.

IMO, this is why Americans have such high marital dissatisfaction and divorce rates. A lot of moms completely and exclusively devote themselves to childcare, and no, it doesn't stop after the first year. It's important to take time for yourselves, go back to exercising, go on dates with your partners, have sex with them - mom with older kids here.

Taking self-care breaks is different from having unprotected sex with a stranger 7 weeks postpartum, exposing yourself to venereal disease, sharing aerosolized breath and bodily fluids with a unvaccinated stranger during a global pandemic and bringing Covid home to a newborn, and immediately delivering two other siblings in the same year - potentially stunting the first child's development and growth with one parent's attention and financial resources divided between three within the first twelve months.

There is nothing defensible about this.

Meh. I knew a couple who needed IVF and had twins. They were told they could never get pregnant on their own so they didn’t use protection. Ended up pregnant with a second set of twins a few weeks later. Two sets of twins a year apart. Everyone survived.

2 adults, 2 incomes to 4 children under 1 is better than 1 adult, no income to 3 children under 1.

Except it’s 3 adults, 3 incomes - mom and the fathers - for 3 children. Which actually works out better than 2 adults with 4 kids.

She’s a single mom with one-night stand sperm donors who both left during gestation. That’s not a ‘father’.

She then got pregnant accidentally by another man that she had been in a relationship with less than 9 months. Come. Dude - she has no childcare. No job. Took at least one of the guys to court already. No family pictures or interactions with the father. Sneaks coffees in parking lots. Has three kids under 2 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Nothing about her says stable and no commitment either.
