Considering how many people I know—including family member and friends—who suffered from COVID-19 and/or or lost loved ones to this disease, I will not vote for anyone who would be irresponsible enough to disregard the mask mandate that was in place and risked the lives of others. In my opinion, that demonstrates a lack of judgment, concern and respect for others.

Face covering means a covering that fully covers a person’s nose, mouth, and chin and is secured to the person’s head, including cloth face coverings, scarves, and bandanas. It does not include face covering with a valve; or solely wearing a face shield.

Sounds like a mesh mask could meet the requirements in the mandate. It would do about as much as cloth masks on kindergarteners.

Tell that to the people who were infected with and/or died from COVID-19, because there were some who tried to play cute by circumventing the mask mandate. Irresponsible, inconsiderate and disrespectful.

“ Face covering means a covering that fully covers a person’s nose, mouth, and chin”—if there are holes near the face, mouth, and chin, such as with a mesh mask, fully covered isn’t happening. Sounds like a mesh mask could not met the requirements in the mandate.

What do you people mean by mesh? I went back and looked at that testimony, and you couldn't see any holes in her mask.

So do you pledge to always wear tightly fitting masks without holes or spaces between fibers? Don’t worry, it’s not a commitment you’d need to keep for long.

Get off your phone. You can see her entire mouth and nose through the mask. This isn’t a debate. She proudly admits she and her kid wear mesh masks.
Her words so drop the bull.

Seriously, how can someone even defend this? And how does a therapist get to unilaterally decide that as a grown adult who counsels inner city minority CHILDREN in Baltimore (a demographic and location where cases were through the roof) that she is just “done masking” and is going to wear a mesh mask? And she’s proud of it and brags about it? Let’s move onto something that’s actually debatable. If you are a constituent in this county and think this is fine, I really have nothing else to say.

I don’t remember a requirement for masks to be opaque.

It's not a known secret she did this. She is proud of it on Twitter. Someone called her out for it. She also had her sons wear mesh masks all throughout the pandemic ALL while talking about how ineffective any masks other than KN95s are.....she is a mess. She lays it all out for you to see. None of this is secret.

This is what a mesh mask looks like. I didn't see anything even similar to this on her face. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09DTX24VQ/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A15RVG7U9ZS094&th=1

OK, so this tells me you are simply going by hearsay, which means nothing and that you are defaming someone on an anonymous forum.

This whole thread is nuts. Looks like a bunch of defamatory statements.
