9 girls from Visi going to Clemson

Ouch. 9 girls attending #75 on the USNWR list. Not what Beer Bong Brett and his cronies had in mind when they wrote tuition checks to Visi.

I was raised in the South. Clemson has no redeeming qualities. Not educationally, socially, in athletics. USC is better in everything (that’s no saying much) and Citadel has their niche filled.

At Clemson? If that’s your thing, why not Alabama, Ole Miss, Auburn. UGA, even USC where they do it better? Or, UNC or GA Tech, where they are smarter?

Not a USC Alum. Or an Alum of any Southern Public. Did not go through the Greek system and do not think highly of “Southern culture”. Hence the move away from the South. Besides that, dead on.

And who or what am I unworthy of? You sound a bit snobby there. Do I have to pay $40k in HS tuition to be “worthy” of an opinion on this thread?

Clemson is a mediocre school. Not even the best school SC has to offer. I’d don’t know what visi sent 9 girls to Clemson. I’d like to sayI don’t care. But after years of hearing about how college counseling was what you really paid for at the DMV privates, I am interested. After hearing the privates helped each kid find the perfect school, and tailor their app, and stayed on top of apps and corresponded with the schools, I want to know if Clemson was the best 9 girls could do? Because they’d get a higher caliber Mrs. at a different SEC school.

NP...you typed this response in anger. The horrible typos are telling. I'm not "Southern" but your ire towards the "South" is telling. Get a life, good people and good schools everywhere. If 9 girls go to a "mediocre" school in the "South" it really doesn't concern you. Something tells me your spawn is GMU or bust but you know, it's a great education.

I don’t know. I went to visitation, and now that my friends’ kids are getting to high school age, I’m surprised by how many are not going to visitation or Gonzaga.
