| 90. I look 18 though |
| I am 41 and I look like I am in my mid to late 30s. Brown girl skin. |
|
51.
A youthful 51. |
| Even middle-aged Hollywood actresses who look amazing don't look much younger than their actual age. Think JLo and Jen Aniston. Hot bodies and gorgeous? Yes. Young? No, or at least not more than ~5 years younger. |
I could have written every word of this except I’m 44. |
This is me too. I haven’t met anyone that look 10 years younger. No one. Either the hands, neck, or hair will tell your their real age. |
Paris Hilton doesn't look different as she did in her 20s. Lupita n y on go either. To me youth is a healthy weight and thin, no visible wrinkles, no or few grays, supple skin. |
| Eh. I'm 56. I have great genetics, am fit, and take care of myself (no fillers or botox). That said I'm not kidding myself walking around thinking I look 46, although people are often surprised when I divulge my age. I think I look early 50's. |
Paris is 40 and even with lots of botox looks late 30s. Lupita is 38 and looks 35. Next! |
| My dermatologist told me the skin on my back looked like that of a much younger woman. She didn’t say anything about my face, lol. |
| I'm 51 and many people have told me I look about 45. I attribute that almost entirely to being fat. My facial complexion is plumped out and rosy looking. If I lose weight... yikes. I'll probably need Botox. |
This really is true. The only exception I can think of right now is Halle Berry, who could pass for a decade younger. |
| This entire discussion is meaningless without pictures. |
Me too. Great genes I guess. People are always like, where’s your mom?! Jokes on them, I’m actually a great grandmother. |
Lupita easily looks 5-10 years younger than her actual age (38):
Sandra Bullock is 57 and easily looks 50 or even younger:
Lots of others like this. And it's partly genes and partly the money/time/incentive to do what it takes to look young, and yes partly styling. That's true of normals too -- you can definitely look younger than your age with a combo of genes, self-care, and a good eye for styling (you can age yourself by styling yourself too young and too old). I don't know why everyone is so cynical about this. Yes, sometimes people will politely say someone looks younger than their age as a compliment. And sometimes people legitimately look younger than they are. I can think of a number of woman I've known over the years who I though "wow, she's 46? I'd never have guessed!" or something similar. And yes -- white women too. Some people just look younger, more vibrant, more attractive. That's life. |
