Be honest. How old are you. How old do you look?

How on earth would I know how old I look? I think My neighbors in their 20s look like teenagers, so I probably look about 60 to them? I probably look about 49 to women my age.

Ha, this!! I’m 40, and same thing. I will say my mom and maternal grandmother each began to look younger than their ages once they got to their late 40s.. They looked their ages for a long time but somehow were not that affected by menopause. God willing I have that luck, too.

I’m 56. I don’t know how old I look, but definitely older than 56. Sun damage, thinning hair. Oh well. I do what I can to look presentable.

I look my age.

My age. And I get the, “oh, you look age-10.” That is all a lie! A form of social flattery. Very few people look 10 years younger. I think most people could guess my age in a 5 year range if being truthful.

32, and I look 32.

Such a dumb pointless thread, knowing replies won’t include pictures.

43 and I look 43. I look good. 43 looks good, especially when you take care of your skin and you aren’t fooling yourself.

I think good skin is one big differentiator. I’ve always loved skincare and beauty stuff, wore sunscreen religiously, used active ingredients suited for my needs at the time, etc. I’m 36 now and don’t necessarily think I look younger than mid-30s but when I look at my peers those who seem “older” to me all have the beginning of fine lines, discoloration, a general dryness that is aging, etc.

50 but my husband swears that I still look 18.

It's rather pointless replying to this thread, right? If you say you look 10+ years younger, you're delusional (despite your day of o day experiences). If you say you look your age, it's to be expected.

I think the bar has been raised over the past few decades. People nowadays wear sunscreen daily, don't smoke, rarely drink, exercise many times a week, eat veg, have skincare routines, use Botox and filler. There's a lot more knowledge on how to preserve one's looks easily available now. Weren't the Golden Girls in their late 40s and early 50s on that show? Most women in that age range look nothing like that.

37, I could pass for 30. I never stay up late, avoid the sun and rarely drink. I got carded the other day and the lady said oh eighties birthday as if she was confused that I was older. I see her frequently at the grocery store. I don’t think I pass for 21 but apparently that time I did.

I am black and people have said I could go for late 30s but I understand that they are merely being polite. What is wrong with admitting that you look the age you are?

I am you, but not healthy.

Now I am 52. I look 52.

Enjoy those 40s, ladies.

This. Time comes for everyone.
