Biden needs to lead...NOW!

This. The issues OP listed are real. I believed he would elevate the US again in the world. He hasn't. I can't blame him for Covid because it is a problem in evolution and we are only able to react. The border is an issue. I have looked at the numbers and it is a real issue and hasn't improved at all since he took office. The numbers don't lie. I am also disappointed by the lack of the feeling of leadership. I can't quite describe that but with every prior president in my memory, I knew their priorities and saw how their worldview and plan for out country flowed out through their staff. I don't see that at all. He doesn't seem to lead or take responsibility for the way things are going or the impact of his decisions. Jen Psaki said yesterday that the people at the border don't plan to stay long. That is just a ridiculous statement. I feel like Mayorkas has been told to just say "the border is closed" and that is all he has by way of direction from the WH. I don't think he can explain a plan because he hasn't been given enough guidance to develop one. And with prior presidents, the role of the VP has varied but they were present. Harris has virtually disappeared even though she was identified as point person on a number of issues. She is never visible. It feels like the ship is just moving through the ocean on autopilot because the pilot isn't giving direction. Meanwhile bad stuff is happening but the ship doesn't change course. It is a very uncomfortable feeling.

DP. I couldn't agree more. Biden/Harris strike me as impersonators of a president and vice-president. Biden is only allowed to take scripted questions - if that. Harris, the "border czar" is tossing the coin at a college football game - while thousands and thousands of illegal immigrants walk into our country. The Afghan evacuation was a complete mess. I honestly can't wait until 2024.

Funny how the exact same MAGA idiots who renamed french fries to 'freedom fries' are now telling us we should be biting our nails, fretting, and thinking it's the end of the world over Macron being in a huff over a military contract.

Get a load of yourselves, ya bunch of jokers.

If this had happened under Trump, instead of this bullshit whining, the GOP would be touting this as a huge success and would be celebrating a multi-billion dollar contract from the rooftops. And you wonder why nobody takes you seriously...

Defend Biden with facts and details. You just attack people you think are posting. MAGA people hated Biden from the get go. No news there. But moderates and some democrats and basically all of Europe are a little bewildered and upset by Biden. That is the issue you keep deflecting to Trump. It isn't Trump anymore and it is worse because although Trump was an egomaniac, he had a vision and it was clear--America first. I don't know what Biden's vision is. And here is a hard truth. Voters only care about the Climate when they can afford to do so--financially and mentally. Climate policies will never happen when an administration is casting about and not leading on anything. Who will follow us on the Climate? France? Hell no. Europe sees us as an unreliable power now and that is because of Biden. They knew Trump would put America first so his choices were at least predictable. Biden empowered Russia by greenlighting a pipeline, then he cut off our pipeline agreement with Canada, he shafted France with the subs, and he left our allies out in the wind when he pulled out of Afghanistan. Our allies had troops there too.

Everyone said "anything is better than trump" and Europe is realizing that is 100% not true.

Interesting that you profess to "caring about COVID" and not about the border - yet the border is where thousands of unvaccinated people are streaming in to our country. Kind of a Catch-22, dontcha think? And that's just a kind way of saying you're an utter hypocrite.

So vaccinate them, problem solved. So, not a catch-22. COVID is a bigger threat to me than brown people are.

At least he takes questions, unless a certain orange predecessor who (when he gave pressers) lied his way through them and then tucked tail and ran.

Additionally, what do you expect him to do when he does not have a filibuster proof majority in the senate??? There is only so much you can do without a cooperative legislature and we all know he does not have that.

As for Harris, you seem bizarrely bothered by the fact that she is playing a more muted role. Like, if you don't see it, it isn't happening. You believe that of everything? Since you had a sandwich for lunch, hunger and poverty don't exist?? Were you really that focused on prior Veeps? (Don't worry, i already know the answer to that question). So, the woman is either a secret puppet who will be installed as president immediately after inauguration to, on the far other end, doing nothing at all??? Got it. She can't win.

So that doesn't make them any worse than the MAGA Qanon crazies, and the ones that don't refuse deserve to be in the country more than the MAGAs who won't get vaccinated.

I can't even believe you are saying he takes questions. He sometimes tries but his mic has been cutoff countless times. Anyway that is crazy talk.

But you are actually missing the ENTIRE point of this thread. Leadership doesn't mean achieving everything you said you would do it. It is being in charge, plotting the course, marshalling resources, holding people accountable, acknowledging mistakes, changing priorities as events change. It is being a leader to the entire organization (or in this case country) even if you don't personally like or agree with certain parts (voters, states) of the organization. It is here that Biden is failing. People want that and gave him lots of time to telegraph it. He is a veteran to government and his views on so many things should be mature. He should have a strong vision and it should be clear. And he should forge ahead. He isn't. People feel it.

Everyone said "anything is better than trump" and Europe is realizing that is 100% not true.

In your darling naïveté, you’re missing the point that the internet is rife with “moderates and some democrats” who are just hardcore Republican hacks pretending to moderates and some democrats.

And I guarantee you that if you asked any European leader, including Macron, if they’d rather have Biden or Trump, 100% of them would say Biden. 100%.

And FFS no one is deflecting to Trump. The guy was easily the worst person to ever happen in America. Everyone wanted to memory hole how bad W and the GOP were back then and everyone’s trying to do it with the even worse Trump and the GOP (now with 100% more treason, sedition and murder via covid!).

Um you just deflected to Trump. Again.

Right, right. Transient migrants are *definitely* going to show up for not only their court dates ( ), but also their second Covid shots ( :roll. You bet. Meanwhile, I bet you freak out when you see anyone out and about without a mask on - even though chances are very good that person has been fully vaccinated. Idiot.

You can't be serious. Again, IF he takes questions, they are carefully pre-selected. Never will he answer anything on the fly. We all know this. Stop deflecting to Trump, who took questions AND answered them. You may not have liked the answers, but at least he answered.
