First, no it isn't, and if you claim it is please provide a citation.

More importantly, it's stupid comments like this that galvanize reasonable people against positions that they would otherwise support.

Yes, if you buy a tv on Facebook marketplace that was stolen, you are charged with buying stolen property.

In this case, with title research, the current owners should have known (and it was their responsibility to understand) the title history. They bought stolen property, perpetuated white supremacy, and they should go to jail.

Those owners likely have title insurance, so, not going to happen.

Title insurance covers civil penalties and ownership. Not criminal penalties. Buying stolen goods is a crime. Not a fantasy. It’s not legal.

You just continue to spout nonsense.

Yes, except obviously the rightful owners are the native Americans.

America must be decolonized.

Pretty much all land throughout the world was “stolen” from someone that lived there previously. The Mohawk “stole” land from the the Iroquois. Then the Mohicans “stole” land from the Iroquois. The Europeans “stole” this land from the Mohicans. Everyone is on stolen land if you look far enough back in history. This whole discussion about giving back “stolen” land is absurd because it is a slippery slope with no logical conclusion for who is the rightful owner. There is no better way to destabilize society than to start confiscating land from property owners for to atone for the sins of their ancestors.

A lesson equally applicable to Israel.

I’m sort of shocked at the number of posters who think buying stolen goods is legal.
