| I don't know, which do you recommend for a vacation, the beach or the mountains? An amusement park or a national park? I know which of the schools would be a better fit for my own kid, but that doesn't make it a helpful recommendation for anyone else. |

Easily U. Chicago. Chicago is historically dominant in Economics, has one of the best law schools in the country (although I doubt Pre-law is a major), and is probably strong in the remaining social sciences as well. I can imagine someone picking Wake Forest but on social life alone. It's Southern, Greek Life dominant, etc. etc. Meaning you have to not only be a wealthy WASP, but a wealthy Southern WASP. Wealthy WASP from DC suburbs does not count. |
