Yes the parents have lost the plot and I feel for teachers, counselors, school health, Principals, and the BOE. I have lost a lot of respect for my fellow parents at (I work in the schools).

Yes. And I feel bad that people used her last name to call her a looney-tune; that was definitely in poor taste

But it also seems like the folks that want the masks to stay in place are making a mountain out of a mole hill, and blowing this WAY out of proportion, in order to distract from just how dumb the comments were

She said the perception is that masks make us safer. And that was good enough reason to keep the mask mandate: so people can 'feel' safe. That's the dumb part

No, that is not what she said. This is what she said:
