Ugh! Source? |

That’s too bad. I am way more attached to Dr. Mohan than Dr. Ellis. From what I’ve seen, Dr. Ellis is too brash for me. This stinks. |
eh, It's important for the story arc to show that some doctors are just not cut out for ED/trauma work. That's what they had Whitaker give Ogilvy the big talk about loving what he does. |
I think Javadi is an M4 and Ogilvie and Joy are M3s. |
Bummer about Mohan, but I like Ellis a lot. |
This is how I feel. I do hope Mohan gets a positive ending, though. Right now it feels like the message she's getting is that she's not cut out to be a doctor at all, like when she trashed her ultrasound fellowship application after talking to the night shift senior resident (Sean from Shrinking! Was he on last season? I don't remember) and feeling like she couldn't compete. Mohan is a great doctor. In fact she might be the doctor on the show I'd most want as my regular physician. But I do think the pace of the ED isn't right for her. She wants to get to know her patients better, be able to treat them over time, and do more than triage the most critical injuries before passing them off. She's just in the wrong speciality, that's all. |
She’s been having a really hard time. I would not be shocked if she quits. |
|
So that’s why they destroyed her character this season: they were setting her up to leave.
Fun fact: the actress who plays Dr. Mohan wants to go to med school! |
Wanted, past tense. She has since said that doing this show makes her glad she chose acting over medicine. |
| Robby and Santos acting like a holes, that's the show at this point. |
Agree, they have made her pretty lame these past few episodes. Hope she gets a better farewell than this. |
I have to admit that Mohan has almost been a non-entity to me. I solely remember her for the diabetic guy story arc (where she was great!). I’m surprised she’s a resident and higher up than Santos and Whitaker. I realize that IRL leaving your ED residency is probably considered a failure, but for this character it’s an opportunity to move towards something she will excel at. |
| Mohan was my fave. It feels like part of her back story is missing. Too many tough moments without clarification makes her breaking down harder to follow. She has been consistently compassionate and effective in the past. I don’t like the way they are handling her arc. |
She’s not given as much attention overall. Santos and Whitaker get more screen time and dialogue. |
