Agree, I hope they find a way to write her out on a positive note. That said I do really like Ellis and will look forward to seeing her more next season. |
Agreed. Mohan is wonderful! They pushed geriatrics this season, but she'd also be a great family doctor. |
+1. |
| wouldn't garcia know that santos is a cutter since they are hook up buddies? |
my long shot theory is that S3 could be Jabari’s 21st birthday. they mentioned early this season that her bday was coming up and Princess and Perla were planning a party. It would be fun to start mid-day shift on that day and then have day shift docs go out to the party and spend more time with night shift docs. Obviously then something happens to bring day shift back in… |
| How did I not know that the actress playing Mel is Bryan Cranston’s daughter?! |
| I haven't even tried to watch because of the gore. |
| I am also doing an ER rewatch and saw Katherine LaNasa on an episode. Season 9, episode 4 if you are interested. |
McKay is also Brad Dourif's daughter (Wormtounge from Lord of the Rings). Santos her father is a big Broadway star and they did Hadestown together too (she was Eurydice and he played Hermes). Lots of family actors on this show. |
| I want more Patrick Ball. Yum. |
No no no. Shawn Hatosy all day. You want a man around who knows how all the systems work and is not preoccupied by gazing at his own navel. |
Here you go: https://archive.ph/OWCwo He’s on Broadway for the first time, and in this interview he talks about The Pitt, his current show, the arc of his career, and what it felt like to pay off his student loans thanks to The Pitt. It’s a great read. |

Oof lots of tension in this week's episode. It's mostly setting up for the finale, but very effectively done. I feel stressed.
I can't deal with watching Robby tear up again. It's very hard to watch him at this point. I liked all the action with the medics this week, this was the first time this season they really made them real characters and it was nice. |
I enjoy Shawn Hatosy on this show but will admit I find him less hot when he's not in crisis mode. That said, Patrick Ball is not my jam either. I get that he's objectively attractive but I do not like cleft chins or floppy hair, and I find Langdon to be problematic character who I am more likely to pity than be attracted to. Season One Noah Wyle is definitely my sweet spot -- a super competent, compassionate ethical, professional man. Swoon. That is part of what has made this season so tough to watch, though. |
