Someone was given parole when he was originally sentenced to life in prison without possibility of parole. He killed his pregnant wife in her other kid. Instead of his release he is being deported.

No, it's far cheaper to let immigrants work here while awaiting trial in their asylum cases or deportation proceedings.

If sanctuary cities allowed ICE to capture illegal immigrant criminals at the jail, it would be a lot less expensive!

The info in this is coming from California Farm Bureau. For those not from an ag background the Farm Bureau has always been the more conservative of farmer organizations--strong ties to the John Birch Society in the 50s. But the Farm Bureau in Kern County, CA says:

The Kern County Farm Bureau stands with and supports our local farmworker community,” Holtermann said. She added that she agreed “criminals do not belong in our community.” But, she said, “those two groups—farmworkers and criminals—are not synonymous. Period.

In my opinion, the widespread abuse of migrant labor over the past four decades is a shameful stain on this country. But, just like iPhones and Nike shoes, most people turn a blind eye to the unethical labor practices behind the products they want, so long as the price is low. Just look at OPs post: concerns about "rotting crops" and "skyrocketing prices", and not a single care about the exploitation of these workers. This has been ignored for decades and now that there's a policy threatens to send them home, we just get all up in arms because we might have to pay more.

Why does it surprise anyone that no care or respect is being given to migrant salaries or working conditions when no care is given to the same for Americans. CEO salaries are how much compared to average workers? Average worker salaries have risen how much over the last 40years? Productivity has increased how much in compati salary? Oil executives are borrowing money to pay shareholder dividends and that benefits most of their lowest paid or at risk workers?

Also do you see any company executives being marched in front of the press and heavily fined for hiring illegal workers?

How many small farms and small businesses are being swallowed up by the big ones?

It will be unnecessarily expensive, now that Trump is using military airplanes to deport immigrants. Each military flight costs $800,000. A commercial flight would cost $100,000. MAGAs, why? I thought Trump said he was going to save money?

Well it may be more expensive to operate a military flight, how much does it cost to deport each illegal immigrant criminal? I would think a lot more criminals can be flown out of the country on military plans then commercial flights....

That's NOT what the Trump administration said today. In the official White House Press Conference, today the new WH Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt had a reporter try to ask her how many of the illegal being deported were criminals. She IMMEDIATELY quite unequivocally shot back with "They are ALL criminals. Every person who crosses the border illegally is a criminal."

That tells me they DO NOT care about "prioritizing the violent illegals" but instead are going after any and all, including the friendly peaceful migrants picking crops at farms, the folks working meat processing plants, the construction and maintenance crews, the restaurant workers, the cleaning crews, the landscapers, and so on.

The Trump supporters who tried to deny it should now be embarrassed.
