Per CNN, Tim Walz at a Harris event last night, demonstrating his ability to combine idealism with straight-out pitbull:

“How often in a hundred days do you get to change the trajectory of the world? A VP candidate who can’t leave his state to campaign or attend the convention is not a good VP candidate. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

A VP candidate who can’t leave his state to campaign or attend the convention is not a good VP candidate. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

Then why allow your name to be floated for a while?

+1 Cooper wasn't my preferred VP pick, but this feels like an act of service to the state of North Carolina and I thank him for it.
