Why are you in such a rush? She’s only been the presumptive nominee for 9 days. It’s more important to thoroughly vet a VP than it is just to have one.

That says SO MUCH about the state of the GOP. I’m headed to NC this weekend for a wedding but knocking doors the morning off. Not gonna miss any opportunity to keep Mark Robinson from getting power.

I have said this and get shouted down by the shills told vetting takes time and I don't understand campaigns.

I think there's an internal issue namely those who requested Biden to leave want Shapiro and Butiigeg. . The problem is the public has fallen in love with Kelly and Walz. This the uptick in posts touting the accomplishments of Shapiro and Buttigeg and bashing Kelly and Walz.

Cooper was reported to be in the top 3 and then after he removed his name from consideration yesterday, it turned out he never even submitted to vetting. I don’t know why it’s worth announcing he didn’t want to be considered when he was a week in without any vetting. Everyone thinks he’s being high minded about not letting his crazy lieutenant governor run the show but my theory is that Cooper has skeletons that would come out in the vetting process.

No skeletons. Stand up guy, never lost election. Harris wanted him but when it came time to submit the tremendous amount or paperwork Cooper decided he could not risk leaving Robinson a for 1 minute.

There is not a great conspiracy. This is just how it works.

I think most normal men aren't so insecure that they wouldn't leap at the opportunity to serve in a - gd willing - Harris administration.

The vetting process or the campaign. Once Harris announces a name, about 10 million Republicans will start digging like crazy. And no matter how thorough the vetting process is, it can’t match that kind of scrutiny.
