N95 Masks at Stone Ridge

Anonymous
The girls are required to wear N95 masks inside and outside at Stone Ridge. My girl and her friends are getting serious headache from this protocol. Is anyone else having a similar experience?

Wearing them inside is the new standard for indoor public places. Wearing them outside might be a little much.

Why am I not surprised? That’s cool has gotten totally out of hand and his jumped off the deep end.

Other places have been requiring them all along. Try different brands.

Again with trolls trying to push people away from the safest masks and protocols?!?!?!

My kids have been in N95s since the beginning of the pandemic. They're way more comfortable than fabric ones. Most other families we know feel the same way. Plenty of school and organizations require such masks and no one has had any adverse effects.

As a research scientist, I can also tell you that these masks are worn regularly in research labs, have been for decades, with no adverse effects.

Just stop.

They cause a lot of headaches and facial problems. YOU stop.

One of those annoying it works for my kids moms… different people have different experiences. So annoying. Her daughter is having headaches. Deal with it.

They allow any KN95 or N95, we’ve found a brand that my girls are happy with. I’m sure you could try a few brands and make it work for the next few weeks.

“Facial problems?” ROFL. Your kid is not going to die from acne. Cope.

And no, you aren’t “getting sick from breathing your own carbon dioxide” either.

Other local privates are requiring this also.

Plus 1,000,000 and thank you for your service as a research scientist. The level of disrespect for science now is shocking.

We don’t know yet whether omicron will result in long haul COVID and wearing masks until this wave is over is much less burdensome than dealing with loved ones getting really sick.

Friends with kids at other private schools say they have the same policy. It is to care for all members of the community. This will hopefully peak soon as it did in South Africa.

No, they’re not.

They’re requiring kn95 or n95. Good for them. Try different kinds. I have TMJ and some kn95s and n95s hurt and some do not.
