Again with trolls trying to push people away from the safest masks and protocols?!?!?! My kids have been in N95s since the beginning of the pandemic. They're way more comfortable than fabric ones. Most other families we know feel the same way. Plenty of school and organizations require such masks and no one has had any adverse effects. As a research scientist, I can also tell you that these masks are worn regularly in research labs, have been for decades, with no adverse effects. Just stop.
Plus 1,000,000 and thank you for your service as a research scientist. The level of disrespect for science now is shocking. We don’t know yet whether omicron will result in long haul COVID and wearing masks until this wave is over is much less burdensome than dealing with loved ones getting really sick. Friends with kids at other private schools say they have the same policy. It is to care for all members of the community. This will hopefully peak soon as it did in South Africa.
