The club provided a town hall for those of us who were interested. Those who couldn't be arsed to go and receive this information are now relying on the kindness of strangers.

Name calling because you made zero effort to receive this information, which you act like is so vital to you, is not a good way to get said kindness. When your kid is left out, tell them it's because mommy and daddy couldn't bother attending an informational meeting. They had other things to do than worry about your soccer team.
