He is a Jew. Why should he not call out antisemitism? The reaction of the audience is just indicative of how high antisemitism is in this country especially among Dems (despite standing for equity for everyone else)

+1. black people have suffered racism forever. Why call out antisemitism? Read the room. There are tons of black people in that room.

+1. The crowd was plenty supportive. The arena just downshifted from the Roll Call party to a speech from the not particularly charismatic Schumer.

Now they’re getting a lecture from Bernie and the crowd is friendly but not especially excited.

Tons of Jews (and people of other backgrounds) as well. Antisemitism has been around forever as well.

The DNC sings the national anthem too. The kids who sang it last night were amazing!
