I feel as if the country as a whole is on a patriotism kick! I've seen more flags flying from houses and car antennas in the past few months than I have in years. I'm not in a red state, by the way. I'm in the extremely liberal NYC suburbs.

I’m a Democrat through and through. Always have been. And will never ever vote for Trump. But I really dislike how the DNC reacted to Schumer here… and it legitimately scares me in fact. Sigh.

People cheered for it, which I (another MOT) was pleasantly surprised by. Also, it's worth something that Schumer got a primetime slot to speak and used his time to talk about antisemitism.

He seems to luck energy and the audience didn’t seem energized.

There are 2429 Republican delegates, and 4,696 Democratic ones. So Trump got 98%, Harris 97%.
