Of course you can choose that. But there will only be 1 of 2 outcomes. If you are OK with A Trump presidency, by all means, write in your unicorn candidate. You’re choice. |
No one is “hoping”, we’re working. Find a Democratic campaign and volunteer, go register voters, be a poll watcher, work the polls, do SOMETHING other than hope. |
My “something” is to write my senators, reps and the White House. Biden needs to WITHDRAW! our only hope is to nominate Harris. Completely change the narrative. Inspire dem voters.
People are not going to come out for Biden. He is not going to get out the vote. His debate was too disturbing! Introducing Zelenski as “President Putin” is more than a slip. We all on know it. Trump on the stage covered in blood with his fist in the air is inspiring and strong. That pic wins the election. We need more donors like George Clooney to put the pressure back on Biden. We have until August 18 /dem convention. |
You are entirely correct. But I fear it's a lost cause now. I'm hearing a lot fewer Democrats pushing Biden to step aside since the shooting - everyone is circling the wagons in both camps, which ultimately, will bring about a Trump victory. I hope I'm wrong. |
I hope you’re wrong too.
The worst part about the shooting is that it took the media pressure off Biden to get out of the race. We need another public figure like George Clooney or a strong senator to make a big statement and start the “Biden get out” narrative again. |
I'm sure critics are regrouping and will commence "Biden get out" efforts after the RNC Convention this week and after some of the dust has settled from the assassination attempt. |
You are misreading the room if you think Clooney opining does anyone any favors |
Why would anyone care what George Clooney thinks? He is not a doctor, not a lawyer, not a scholar, and not a politician. |
I could care less about Clooney. But he is a prominent public figure who gets headlines. |
Clooney also has financial clout. I hope he’s pressuring our senators.
From his op-ed piece: “We are not going to win in November with this president. On top of that, we won’t win the House, and we’re going to lose the Senate. This isn’t only my opinion; this is the opinion of every senator and Congress member and governor who I’ve spoken with in private. Every single one, irrespective of what he or she is saying publicly.” |
Biden is not going anywhere. He has said it repeatedly. He likes to be President and doesn’t care about the party. Just like RBG wouldn’t leave the Court because she liked being a Justice. See where that got you? Selfish, selfish, selfish! Makes me so happy though!! |
Agree. After the assassination attempt, the tide has turned even more for Trump. If Biden doesn't bow out now, it's 100% pure selfishness. If he ran because he felt Trump was a danger to our democracy (which he is), then Biden should bow out because he can't win. |
Biden doesn’t care. Did you hear his press conference? He said he still wouldn’t step aside even if it was shown that Harris has a higher likelihood of winning. It’s the height of selfishness and narcissism, and his party will pay dearly for it. |
Biden proves you can run anyone against Trump and the lowest results will be what Biden has now. Too bad the Dems do not want to win.
The establishment moderates dems are happy with the current system and out come. Let’s face it the Dems are not going to drop the filibuster and they are never going to win 60 plus seats in the senate. This mean the status quo with more republican victories like abortion, support for Russia and china, country over run with immigrants, etc |
Biden will spend the next few months raiding the coffers to give away money to potential friendly voters. He will spend so much money, it will make the college money giveaway look like child's play. |
