What if Biden does not bow out?

Biden doesn't see it that way. He wants to cling to power. Becoming less of a fan of his by the day.

So does Trump. Why is he running a third time at age 78?

Trump is sharper at 78 than Biden was at 50.

Only a cult member would believe that. He is wily—I’ll give him that. But he’s dumb as a rock otherwise.

So dumb he became a US president. Do you even hear yourself?

Rebuking, ridiculing, ostracizing, and dehumanizing (MAGA, Russian bot, destroying democracy, etc) anyone who'd raise factually-based criticism or concerns. Refusing to address the problem when it became unavoidable. Allowing the party to self-destruct rather than taking easy steps to avoid the issue in the first place.

Imagine if they had tried applying similar principles to something important. Like social justice, or war, or whatever. I guess it's a good think they haven't.

Why would America want democrats in charge of anything? They don’t care 1% about America.

Gun violence and environment / global warming are high concerns of mine that the Republicans won’t do anything about. Add to that denying Merrick Garland a hearing to become a justice / saying Obama didn’t get to nominate a justice and January 6th and concerns about democracy under the modern day Republican Party and I have concerns. I wish neither Trump nor Biden were the nominees but I will vote for Biden if those are my only choices.

Obama nominated a justice. The Senate did not confirm the nomination.
Obama as a Senator voted to deny a vote for Alito to the Supreme Court. He also supported filibusters of other judges. He can't really complain.

Obama had that SCOTUS nomination wrongfully stolen from him. And history has proven again and again that he was right about Alito. If only other Senators had listened.

Wrong. So many people feel the same way I do. This is a battle for the future of America and we want a democracy rather than a dictatorship.

I disagree with this approach. Fear because of Biden’s condition is what caused this assassination attempt. He needs to step down immediately so a viable candidate can step in.

Nonsense. You have absolutely zero evidence to suggest "Biden's condition" caused this assassination attempt.

Obviously. But also obvious, the calls for Biden to step down, and the rising numbers for Trump in the polls has increased feelings of desperation by non-Trump supporters. This is just common sense.

The calls for Biden to step down are all coming from THE PRESS.

The voters do not want Biden to step down. His support remains steady after the debate (which was a fiasco, but I don't care because he's coherent and smart, compared with that bozo GOP candidate who spews invective and lies but can't string two coherent sentences together).

Rally around Biden, Democrats and DEFEAT the criminal DUMPUS!!!!

The voters/Americans overwhelmingly think Biden is too old

Ya think. Want to win? Give the smart voters what they want. It ain't Trumo and Biden.

The voters do want Trump. Did you see that absolute stud? They tried to kill him and by some miracle, maybe his square American super hero jaw deflected the bullet-- it just grazes his ear. Then he gets back up, fist in the air, covered in blood and looks around like "any f---ing questions???" "USA! USA! USA!"

People don't like weak, apologetic leaders whose entire platform is about how awful America is. You all talk about checking your passports-- no, you need to start immigration paperwork for whatever sad, self-hating place you prefer-- and let us get on with America since we love her and you hate her.

The reference by the PP was to "smart" voters. Smart voters do not want Trump or Biden to be our next president.

Most people do not want Trump or Biden.

Those are the choices. Grown ups will pull up their big girl panties and go vote for the infinitely better candidate: Biden.

Actually you can vote for anyone of age to hold office and a US citizen. Write it in.

Remember when US workers were not replaced by cheap foreign labor?

I do

You urban elites have created this fracture

This is crap. Our country was founded on cheap foreign labor, it was called SLAVERY. We never moved past the addiction to cheap labor. We’ve had cheap labor in some form or another since before we even declared independence from England. Our indentured servants became slaves, became share croppers, became child factory workers, became domestic workers during Jim Crow, became migrant farm workers. The list goes on. We have always depended on cheap labor and the individuals who provide it. The only difference now is who’s providing it and how it’s so rapidly changing the demographics of our nation so that the people who look most like the founding fathers are freaking out about becoming an ethnic and racial minority. That’s it, that’s all.

Next.

Biden might not prevail in the battle box with former Trump.

Yes and cheap labor comes from illegal immigration -something Trump wants to get rid of. He is a big problem for the right and left and 1% because he isn’t their tool

Any thoughts on how humane illegal immigrants are treated by the ones taking advantage of cheap labor or do you not care? The solution isn't bringing in illegal immigrants and new crime and the mooching off the educational system and other resources.
