It's been rumored that 11 staff members are already leaving Navy for the next school year and it's only the beginning of April. With that many staff members voluntarily leaving and a bunch of parents complaining about the new administration, that's a pretty good indication that something isn't right. There needs to be a discussion. How is this not even a concern to some. |
The principal had a meeting last week and hardly anyone showed up. That would have been a perfect opportunity to voice concerns. |
Rumored. Please hear yourself. The email said 7 have secured positions elsewhere. Who knows if that is true too. But honestly that is to be expected with a new administration. |
Bingo. Only 7-8 people showed up. The principal addressed the email head on and quite frankly I was impressed. If there were concerns, you’d expect more of the community to come and voice them. No, instead we have secretive emails and plans to attend another school’s community meeting. And FCPS employees forwarding emails to do the dirty work of some disgruntled teachers. |
Wrong again. It’s not a bunch. |
We are used to bad teachers at Navy so nothing will change for us. |
Can we thank the “sub” for that as well? |
Well enjoy them then while compromising your child's education and proporty value going down. There's a reason there's a teacher shortage which is only getting worse and it's because of Karen's like you. |
Bahahaha. That’s not a thing. Parents aren’t allowed to make teacher requests, and that was even under the old principal. Also, the parking lots pretty much clear out by 4 pm on a daily basis. They aren’t doing “overtime.” |
Don’t get it twisted - the Karens are the Navy parents spearheading this campaign against the principal, with the influence and backing of a few disgruntled employees. |
A few is 3. That number is a lot more than 3 honey. |
Then they should have a meeting with their boss to discuss their concerns, not gossip to Karen parents at Navy. It sounds like the disgruntled ones are leaving though. |
Maybe instead of communicating on this anonymous forum endlessly with no solutions someone should set up a parent meeting for coffee somewhere instead of just plotting a not so secret overthrow at another school? Or a what's app chat? |
I think a staff meeting is more important than a parent meeting. Parents (like whoever drafted that email) do not represent the entire staff. Not one of those issues in the email was actually a staff concern. |
I am in agreement but it sounds like he is doing that. |
