No, no one from Pride or Stars are defecting unless they get bounced to their B clubs. Then they will possibly change clubs. All of the core players will stay put until Capital

As for Stars only having one player that could make a MD Club is wrong. All any one looks at is who can score. This person scores a lot, so she is the best. There of so much more to lacrosse than scoring. Stars don’t have many that could make a MD Club, but they definitely have a couple. Pride also have a few

I don't know why this would be assumed to be a Hero's parent. It all sounds correct to me and I am a lowly DMV parent.

Because they're posting the same stuff about M&D not being able to get girls on both 28 and 29 threads over on BOTC. That said, the idea that there are Stars girls who could make M&D or other MD teams does sound correct, every team has a few players who could make contributions on a top team or at least have great potential that a good coach will be able to see. Stars sent a few girls to top MD teams last year, seems like Stars and Pride could do the same this year if girls tried.

What's with the random M&D bashing on the DMV boards?

It's an awesome club. The only club in the country that has top 5 teams at every level from 2024-2029--which is a pretty strong argument for being the best club in the country. They are classy when we play them and a devastating second half team, which speaks to coaching and conditioning.

If they were even 50% closer and reachable for practices from NoVA, my daughter would have tried out without a doubt.

I'm guessing Hero's dad schadenfreude. Coppermine just needs to sit quietly after stealing the best middies from everywhere to add to the deepest line in the country. MDU licking their wounds. Crush kept it together. Sounds like Hero's, or some jealousy based on not getting an offer.

I think PP was simply saying the number of players showing up is less important that the quality of the players showing up, which is obviously true.
